- Valerie Oliveiro is Singapore born but she lives and works far away from her beloved nation state in Champaign, IL She is a self taught photographer. She is interested in spaces and landscapes that are in transition. She is also interested in human use, intervention, strategy of landscape and space, as well as natural-human tension in landscapes and space.
